Black Friday Deals on Vlogging Cameras and Gear

November Vlogging camera and gear deals articleStarting from the 24th of November, these next few days are a time not to leave your device alone for more than 5 minutes, if you want to save some serious money for stuff you need. I know that vloggers will be more than interested in these holiday deals on sites like Amazon; vlogging gear is not cheap after all. That’s why I’ve created this post to keep you updated on the best Black Friday deals on vlogging cameras and equipment in general.

This post is going to be updated throughout the day when any other deal that is relevant for all vloggers goes live, so keep an eye on it

We’re simply starting the first day, and there’s already some important sales you’ll want to check out.

Deals on Vlogging Cameras

Canon EOS 80D with EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 Image Stabilization USM Lens

Probably the best deal you will find this day on vlogging equipment in general. This camera was released just a few months ago and it’s one of the best DSLR cameras for video ever released. It is especially good when you need to rely a lot on autofocus; it is a camera designed for filmmaking enthusiasts, so it is very popular between vloggers.

This is one deal you don’t want to miss if you’re interested in a good and new camera for video to use for many years. Still, remember that it is a DSLR, so it won’t as easy to carry around as a compact or mirrorless camera.

Canon EOS Rebel T5i EF-S 18-55 IS STM Kit

The Canon REBEL line has been the DSLR choice for video making starters. It is adslr very well priced for the amount of quality it brings to video creators. It has everything you would need to start: flip screen, autofocus and full HD recording.

Canon EOS Rebel T6i Video Creator Kit

Talking about Rebel cameras, the latest one has a discount right now with the full video creator kit. I’ve seen a lot of people buy this kit because it includes a decent RODE microphone, the basic kit lens and a 32GB video card.

Canon VIXIA HF R70

The Canon VIXIA HF R70 is one of the most efficient camcorders you could get. I’m not a fan of camcorders, but this is one of the very few I would recommend. The reason is its cheap price for the video quality you get.

Taking advantage of this deal makes this camera even better, since it was already very affordable.

Sony a6000 with 16-55mm and 55-210mm Lenses

The Sony Alpha 6000 is one of the best mirrorless cameras on the market. It is also Sony’s comeback to competing with cameras that are also good for video. This is the kind of machine that put Canon to shame, and the best thing is that it’s very friendly to vloggers.

It is small, easy to carry around, you can connect a microphone port and has great video quality. It is an interchangeable-lens camera, so you will be able to update it later with good lenses. It is a camera to keep for a long time.

This deal comes with two lenses that will serve you for any kind of situation. Only go for it if you want to use this camera for your own personal photos and not only for vlogging, as you will only need the 16-55mm for this job.

Logitech HD Webcam C310

This webcam is one of the cheapest you can get right now while still being able to record 720p video and compatible with MAC. This is one of the cameras I like to recommend for vlogs that don’t require the highest quality possible. This makes it a good camera for video channels that aren’t about the person talking, but rather about what you’re doing in your computer (for example: gaming channels, software tutorials, etc).

GoPro can record videos that most cameras simply can’t. This makes this camera truly unique and a very needed camera if you’re an action vlogger. Right now you can find the original GoPro HERO on sale. Even though it’s been some years already, this camera is as useful as it ever was; you can record 1080p30 video and slow-mo in 720p60. It might not be able to record 4k like the newest models, but it will do the job for a very cheap price.

Deals on Vlogging Microphones

Over 30% off on Blue Microphones

If you’ve read what I call *the most important post I’ve written for this website*, you’ll recognize that Blue microphones are one of my main recommendations for home vloggers. Right now is the time to pick one for a very fair price.

You can find right now good deals on Amazon for the Blue Yeti and the Snowball if you want to save a bit more money. They’re both great microphones that are used by many YouTubers, streamers and podcasters for good reasons, especially the Yeti.

If you haven’t already read my article about microphones, you can find more about these mics there:

Deals on Vlogging Lenses

Deal on 50mm /f1.8 Vlogging Lenses for Canon and Nikon

As I said in my article about lenses, the 50mm f/1.8 is a lens you should own if you’re a photographer, and if you plan to ever do vlogs from home. Its quality is incredibly good for the price. There’s no simply match to it.

It comes to happen that both Canon and Nikon have sales going on for their own, so make sure to not miss them:

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens
Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens

Now, these lenses will only do you good if you’re recording from home and from a good distance from the camera. If you plan to record ‘selfie’ style, you will need a wide-angle lens.

Gladly Canon has a sale going on for this kind of lens:

Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 IS USM Wide Angle Lens
